This month we’re celebrating Anna Sicolo’s birthday and also her 5 year anniversary at Luscombe and Co! We caught up with her to hear about her stellar career here at Luscombe:
How did you come to Luscombe & Co?
It was a spur of the moment enquiry, as I was at a point in my life where I wanted to do something new but didn’t know what.
What was your initial impression of the company?
At first I was terrified of starting something completely new… I had no knowledge of the property industry. But there were an amazing team and company values.
How has that changed the past 5 years?
My whole journey has just got better and better. Through all the training and support I’ve been given I’ve progressed and learned so much.
Tell us a bit about what you do at Luscombe and Co?
I carry our valuations and meet new landlords. Listening and helping tenants/landlords as much as I can. Constantly on the lookout for a deal that can be tied up.
What do you like most about your job?
Helping people.
What has been the biggest highlight during your time at Lucsombe & Co?
There is no particular highlight. I enjoy every day doing my job, from the challenges to the successes.
Tell us a bit about yourself, where are you from, where did you grow up, what is your hobbies etc?
I’m from Newport, lived here all of my life. Went to local schools. I like spending time with my family, reading and a good Netflix binge!
Which Luscombe value do you live by and why?
Be adventurous, creative and open-minded. I will always try my absolute best to solve a problem or find an answer. So being creative and resourceful to go above and beyond. I think the team will also tell you that I am the value of ‘create fun and a little weirdness’. But my craziness makes people smile 🙂
Where do you see the company going in the next 5-10 years?
Expanding, opening up another office in a new city.
Do you like Penny’s hair?
I like it and I’m jealous of how lovely and long it is!
Where does Ceejay hide the chocolate?
It doesn’t get chance to be hidden, but if it is hidden it will be in her desk draws.
What do you love most about Newport?
The culture. It’s an exciting city which is definitely on the up.
What is one of your bucket list items/dream come true?
I want to go on an African safari or to see a whale in the ocean. I think I would cry!
What did you want to become when you grew up?
A crime scene forensic or pathologist.
